Your Team: Oxford United

What Time of the day did the match take place: 7.45  PM

The Match itself: Good advert for BSP football for any neutrals watching on Satanta $&*@.  Draw was a fair result.

Atmosphere in ground: Very reasonable for non-league.  Samba band before kick-off.  Both sets of supporters in good voice.

Quality of Food: Didn't have any.

Quality of Drink: Hot chocolate - £1.50 - needed stirring to avoid it being all clumpy at the bottom, but at least the nice lady selling it pointed this out.  Tolerable - better than that on offer at Histon.

Bars (in or around the ground): Didn't visit them.  As I live in Cambridge I am aware of the good Thai food at the Wrestlers , down the road from the ground.

People (fans, or general): Gate people, programme sellesr etc very friendly.

Programme (quality, vaule for money): £3 - okay but no programme is worth £3.

Town/City (what was the host town/city like): I live there anyway, so I must quite like it.

Ground (tidy, neat, terrible, what was the playing surface like): League standard.

Talent (either player wise or laydezzzzzzzzzz wise!): Both sides had players on good form.  Later that night I ended up in bed with a local woman - (my wife).

Overall day: Easy trip for me. Disappointed not to win. 7.5/10

Being a rebel, I will not adhere to the check list provided by admin, but here are some views -

Ground
Love it! Mix and match stands and terraces.

Parking
Whitehill Drive, few hundred yards from ground, but I did get there early. Little congested getting out, but back to Mk in under an hour.

Social Club
Wish we had an official one! Good range of ales, good value food (although I didn't partake), friendly bar staff, Oxford & Cambridge fans mixing amicably. Superb old bloke on the door collecting £1 entries.

Atmosphere
Good! The 260 of us did a good job, as did Cambridge fans when the mood took them, and the pre-match drummers were excellent. Even the students tried a Mexican wave and a reply to our "can you hear the students sing?"

Policing / Stewarding
Absolutely no complaints. Police were good-humoured in the face of the "what a waste of Council Tax" song and got the three Cambridge miscreants out quickly and without bother when they equalised.

Game
Excellent! Plenty of attacking play and little hoofing. Murray and Foster took heavy tackles, but overall a good advert for BSP. Disappointed with result but it was fair!

Your Team: Crawley Town

What Time of the day did the match take place: 7.45  PM

The Match itself: Crawley dominating from start to finish. Could have been more than the five if I'm honest

Atmosphere in ground: Cambridge made little noise however only 25 Crawley fans went....

Quality of Food: Chicken and Mushroom Pie I had was nice.

Quality of Drink: Hot Choc was OK a bit coldish though and needed a good stir.

Bars (in or around the ground): Didnt go in any

People (fans, or general): Seemed friendly enough

Programme (quality, vaule for money): £3 for a BSP club Programme is a bit of a rip off IMO even if it was a Trophy game

Town/City (what was the host town/city like):

Ground (tidy, neat, terrible, what was the playing surface like): Nice enough. Probably the brightest floodlight in the world! (Carlsberg)

Talent (either player wise or laydezzzzzzzzzz wise!): None of their players looked good.

Overall day: 10/10. On paper I would have taken a draw before thrashing them at home, but 5-0 away is always a fantstic result whoever the opposition is.

Your Team: Luton Town

What Time of the day did the match take place: 3 PM

The Match itself: Real quality game - Town came from 2 down with 10 men to win 4-3 with an outstanding 2nd half performance

Atmosphere in ground: A lot of banging of the tin pot drum from Cambridge - really good atmosphere though especially 2nd half

Quality of Food: Average

Quality of Drink: Bottles had to be purchased from vending machine which decided to rob £1.20 off me (so cost £3.60 for 2 drinks) = Shit!

Bars (in or around the ground): Didnt go in any

People (fans, or general): Seemed alright police took the piss though

Programme (quality, vaule for money): quite poor quality tbh

Town/City (what was the host town/city like): nightmare to get out of

Ground (tidy, neat, terrible, what was the playing surface like): Not bad for a BSP club, still not too good though

Talent (either player wise or laydezzzzzzzzzz wise!): No ladies really as for players we looked pretty good, they were made to look poor

Overall day: 10/10. An outstanding football match with a quality atmosphere and an away win, full marks. Police did let it down though.

Your Team: Diamonds

What Time of the day did the match take place: 7.45  PM

The Match itself: A game of two halves. We went 2-0 up before throwing it away... 2-2 FT. Unhappy Entertaining nonetheless!

Atmosphere in ground: Fair enough from both sets of fans. ~200 Diamonds outsinging the home fans for most of the first half, although this faded as the game turned.

Quality of Food: Hot dog was fine.

Bars (in or around the ground): Had a quick pint in the social bar. £1 entry into a fairly average bar was made up by the big screen and lack of queue. Thumbs Up

People (fans, or general): All very friendly.

Programme (quality, vaule for money): Didn't buy one.

Ground (tidy, neat, terrible, what was the playing surface like): Nice, proper league ground. Pleasingly rough around the edges.

Talent (either player wise or laydezzzzzzzzzz wise!): The standard of play was average, although both side's first goals were screamers. Tomlin snuck a free kick in at the near post, deceiving Potter, while a Cambrige player smacked one in from 30+ yards.

Overall day: Enjoyable, even after throwing away a two-goal lead.

 Thumbs Up
