Moss Steps Down As Wrexham Chairman

Moss Steps Down As Wrexham Chairman

Geoff Moss has stepped down as chairman of Wrexham FC. The announcement came during a press conference held at the Racecourse ground on Friday Morning.

Moss has been involved with the club for many years and as the chairman for the last two, investing up to £4 million of his personal wealth in Wrexham FC.

He will continue to act as a board member but hands over the reigns as chairman to Ian Roberts.

In a statement released on the Wrexham FC's official website, Moss thanked fans for their support and vowed to continue contributing to the club.

The statement read: "Geoff would like to take this opportunity to thank the many hundreds of supporters who have contacted the club by letter and email thanking him for his efforts and he wants to assure those people that although taking a back seat he will still remain an active contributor to the club for the foreseeable future."
